Agility Training
Agility Classes ($125)
First Steps to Agility
This class prepares the dog to participate in the exciting dog sport—agility. The emphasis is on focus. The dog learns that paying attention to the handler can be fun and rewarding. Some agility obstacles are introduced. Dogs are on leash and should have basic obedience training (sit, down, stay and come).
Focus and Fundamentals
This class continues to develop the relationship between dog and handler. More agility obstacles are introduced including the weave poles. Dog and handler will begin to do short sequences of equipment.
Introduction to Sequencing
This class continues to develop the dog's confidence and skill on the agility equipment. All equipment will be raised to competition height (dog's age permitting). Longer sequences of obstacles are introduced.
Rally Obedience ($125)
The fastest growing new dog sport! This sport builds on the basic obedience that every dog should know but encourages a positive relationship between dog and handler. The class will introduce all the behaviors required in Rally and will then combine them into courses.

 Donna Brown
Donna made the transition from obedience to agility in the mid-1990’s.
She currently runs a Border Collie named “Skeeter” and
a Corgi named “Morgan”, competing at the Master’s
level in USDAA and the Excellent level in AKC with both dogs. She
has won and placed at numerous USDAA Steeplechase and Grand Prix
qualifiers in the highly competitive Northeast region. At the prestigious
Fair Hill, MD USDAA Agility Trial Donna won both the 12” and
26” Grand Prix classes as well as helping to qualify her DAM
team for the 2004 USDAA DAM Championships.
Donna was a high school
science teacher for 12 years before she committed all of her time
to dog training. This teaching experience is why
she excels at instructing both new and experienced agility students.
Donna places emphasis on the handler-dog relationship to create
a dog that loves to work.
Donna teaches agility in the Central
Maryland area. She has instructed Chris Parker's NE Speedoggie
Agility Camp since 2003 and looks forward to returning there again this year.
